Accessibility Statement for Cognitive Alignment
General
Cognitive Alignment is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to meet the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Cognitive Alignment is partially conformant with WCAG 2.0 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content may not fully conform to the accessibility standard, though we are actively working to remediate these issues.
Accessibility Features
To ensure our content is accessible, we have integrated the following tools:
Accessibility Widget: Allows users to adjust text size, contrast, and navigation.
Text-to-Speech: Audio options are available for users who prefer to listen to content.
Browser Compatibility: Our site is optimized for standard screen reading software (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver).
